Quick Formatting with the Format Painter
The Format Painter is a quick and easy way to transfer formatting styles. The Format Painter copies only formatting attributes such as line style, fill, and text formatting from one text box or shape to another. To format, follow these steps:
Select the shape that has the formatting you want to copy.
To format a text box or object, click Format Painter from the Standard Toolbar (just right of the cut, copy, and paste commands) as show in Figure 7.3.
Click the shape to which you want to copy the formatting.
