So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Rotating and Flipping Shapes
Visio's ability to rotate, free rotate, and flip shapes gives a lot of flexibility to your drawing document as you lay it out. Visio offers five methods to rotate or flip a shape; using the Shape menu, using the Rotate buttons on the Action toolbar, using the rotation tool on the Standard toolbar, using the Size and Position window pane, and using Shortcut menus.
Using the Shape Menu
The Shape menu has several commands to rotate or flip shapes. Figure 6.5 shows the Shape menu's commands for rotating shapes and text, and for flipping shapes.
Click a shape to select it.
From the Shape menu, choose the Rotate or Flip command.
