Positioning and Sizing Shapes
Visio Task Panes are key points to use and master. Task panes, sometimes called windows, keep distinct tasks easy to perform with task-based options in one area. The Size and Position Window enables you to change the location of a shape on the drawing page, change its size, and also its rotation.
To control shape size, position, and angle with the Size and Position Task Pane, follow these steps:
From the View menu, click the Size & Position Window command, this displays the task window.
Click to select a shape. Notice the values in the task window as shown in Figure 9.8.
From the fields in the window, edit the X and Y values to change the location of the shape.
