Applying Glue Connections
There are various methods in connecting shapes discussed here in a step-by-step format.
One of the first steps is to verify and understand how to toggle the Glue setting on and off. One of the fastest methods is to use the Snap & Glue toolbar. To toggle the Glue setting:
Expose the Snap & Glue toolbar by choosing it from Toolbars in the View menu.
The second button from the left is the Toggle Glue button. If Glue is on you see a thin blue line outlining the button. Otherwise, click the button to toggle it on. Figure 9.11 is the Snap & Glue toolbar pointing out the Toggle Glue button.
