I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Copying and Pasting Hyperlinked Shapes into Other Document
Visio can copy and paste linked shapes from Visio page to page, or document to document. These shapes retain their link and appearance, enabling you to change these attributes as you see fit.
Visio also provides a method to copy and paste just the link to other office documents. The image itself is not copied, solely the link in a text format.
To copy and paste the link to a Word document, follow these steps:
Select the linked shape by clicking on it.
From the Edit menu, click the Copy command. The shape and the associated link are copied to the Windows Clipboard.
From the Word document, click the Paste as hyperlink Command from the Edit menu.
