Using Snap and Glue

Snap and Glue can be toggled on and off by the Snap & Glue toolbar or the Snap & Glue dialog box. Visio offers many options for you to snap or glue to. You can snap to ruler subdivisions, the grid, the alignment box, shape extensions, shape geometry, guides, shape intersections, shape handles, shape vertices, and connection points. You can glue to shape geometry, guides, shape handles, shape vertices, and connections points.

To edit the Snap and Glue setting, follow these steps:

  1. From the Tools menu, click the Snap & Glue command. This displays the Snap & Glue dialog box as shown in Figure 9.9.
