So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Static or Dynamic Glue
Glue comes in two forms, Static or Dynamic Glue. Static glue retains a connected object to its original point of connection. Static glue can be used on connection points already located on a shape, or on connection points you place manually. For example, picture an organizational chart displaying a hierarchy of rectangles representing employees within an organization. If an employee is moved from one department to another, the connector attaching the rectangle remains at its original point of connection.
Dynamic Glue keeps the shortest distance between two shapes by not staying attached at the original point of connection. Dynamic glue connection ends move around the parameter of the shape.
