Ungrouping Shapes
To ungroup the shapes back to their original form, follow these steps:
Select the group by clicking on it, and confirming that the group's sizing handles are visible.
From the Shape menu, click the Grouping command, and then Ungroup.
Notice all your shapes are independent again from each other, and their sizing handles back. If you need to format or move an individual shape, deselect them by clicking anywhere on your drawing page, and re-selecting the single shape.
Tip
Keyboard shortcuts can assist you by reducing time to perform these grouping tasks. Follow these keyboard shortcuts to group and ungroup:
Group—SHIFT+CTRL+G
Ungroup—SHIFT+CTRL+U
