When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Set Up the Project
Make sure you have the Lesson 2 files downloaded.
Import the Asset
- Fire up a new After Effects project, either by clicking New Project from the splash screen, or with File > New Project.
- Save this project into Lesson 2 > 05_Project, naming it Lesson 2.
We’ll now import the image in the Stills folder, but with a different approach than last time.
- Drag the file called GrowYourCareer.ai from the Stills folder in the Finder or Explorer into the Project panel.
You’ll see a dialog box that asks us to select import options, but it’s asking the same thing as the Import window.
- Be sure to change Import Kind to Composition
