So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

A Note About Flash Player 10’s Security Settings

Use the Global Security Settings tab of the manager to create a list of trusted items. Flash
Player always allows SWF les from the Global Security Settings list to communicate with
the Internet, even if they’re being run locally. Use the Edit Locations pop-up menu to add
individual SWF les or folders to the trusted list or remove them from the list (Figure 18.31).
If you’ll be doing lots of this type of testing, it makes sense to set up a special Trusted folder
where you keep only your own SWF les you need to test. Don’t allow Flash Player to ...
