you create arcs out of pie-wedge oval shapes. If the

shape has an inner-radius setting greater than 0, in

its open-path form it appears as two arcs.

To create an open arc, deselect the

Close Path check box. When you

create a pie-wedge shape, this setting

creates an open path. Flash removes

the shape’s  ll (if one is present) and

deletes the straight line segments
