I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Custom service brokers on Cloud Foundry
In general, there are a few known ways of deploying a service broker on Cloud Foundry. The key message to remember is that Cloud Foundry only requires an implementation of the service broker application that follows the OSB API. This means, for example, that it is possible to implement a service broker in an existing service application and simply expose the OSB API endpoints.
Some alternative ways are:
- The service broker is packaged along with the services and deployed by BOSH alongside CF
- The service broker is deployed by BOSH, but the services are optionally provisioned, if needs be, and maintained externally to CF
