I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a service
Before proceeding with the foll, ensure that you have the permissions to create and bind services. For the following examples, also check that you are logged in as an admin user on PCF Dev. Otherwise, you will receive a You are not authorized to perform the requested action error message.
To create a service, run the cf create-service <SERVICE_NAME> <PLAN> <INSTANCE_NAME> command. Here, SERVICE_NAME and PLAN refer to the service name and plan names found in the list from the marketplace, respectively. The INSTANCE_NAME is the name of the instantiated service. You will need this instance name later in order to bind this service to an application. Note that you can also use the shorthand, cf cs.
