When an application crashes, Cloud Foundry records the crash event. These crash events can be viewed by executing the cf events APP_NAME command . The event will provide the application support team or the developer with the time the event occurred, a brief reason, and the action taken by Cloud Foundry. This information alone is not enough for the team to debug the crash problem. The next best way to find out why the application crashed is by analyzing the recent logs for the application. This can be done by executing cf logs APP_NAME --recent.
