As we had mentioned earlier, a shared domain can work in either HTTP or in TCP. The previous steps showed how to create an HTTP shared domain. We will now explore the creation of TCP shared domains.
The creation of TCP shared domains follow the same path as the HTTP shared domains; the exception here is the requirement for a router-group in the command, that is, cf create-shared-domain <TCP_DOMAIN_NAME> --router-group <GROUP NAME>. To retrieve the list of router groups, we can do so through the command cf router-groups. The Figure 26 performs this step and shows the result of creating a TCP domain:
