I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Service broker and service instance implementation requirements
For route services to work with an application, both the service broker and the service instance implementation must fulfill certain requirements. The meaning of service instance implementation refers to the actual route service implementation.
From the service broker's perspective, it must return the route binding information for the following operations:
- Catalog: The service catalog must include requires: ["route_forwarding"]. Not doing so will prevent service instances from being bound to a route.
- Binding: When a user binds a service instance to a route, Cloud Foundry will call the service broker's bind endpoint with a route address in the bind_resource.route field. The ...
