Scaling your application

As you already saw in the App Manager, there are two scaling options. The first is to scale vertically and the second is to scale horizontally. Scaling vertically allows us to set all application instances with a defined memory and disk space capacity. Scaling horizontally, on the other hand, allows us to set the number of simultaneous applications that will run at once. Generally, scaling horizontally is desired to maximize the usage of compute resource and management of traffic load for a given application.
