I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exploring PCF Dev
With a proper PCF Dev installation complete, we can now log into it and treat it like any other Cloud Foundry foundation we would deploy an application on.
Since PCF Dev is only accessible on the local machine; it comes with a preconfigured set of user credentials, URLs, endpoints, Orgs, and Spaces that you can use for your development.
These credentials are displayed upon the successful start of PCF Dev using the cf dev start command.
For instance, consider the following list that defaults to the values given:
- API endpoint: https://api.local.pcfdev.io
- Apps Manager URL: https://apps.local.pcfdev.io
- An Admin user with the Email: admin and Password: admin
- A Regular user with the Email: user and Password: pass
- An Org for apps ...
