If there is ever a need to delete an application, this can be done so by running the command cf delete [-r][-f] <APP_NAME>. The -f parameter forces the deletion of the application without prompting you, as it would when there is no force parameter specified. The -r also deletes routes that are mapped to this application. By default, deleting applications without the -r option means that the mapped routes will be retained. Note that delete is a destructive process and irreversible (aside from re-deploying), therefore, use this with caution!
