Creating the Simple-HTTP buildpack
For our buildpack creation example, we'll aim to create a very simple buildpack that serves a single simple HTML document. This is not a production-level buildpack, and serves only as a useful educational resource. You would use a Static buildpack for this purpose instead, which can serve simple HTML documents and much more! The Simple-HTTP buildpack will serve an HTML document from a file that is labeled index.http. index.http contains a simple HTML document. In this instance, we'll need a webserver running to listen for incoming HTTP requests and then respond with an HTTP response.
To proceed with this example, you will need to download the Golang compiler. Instructions for this can be found at https://golang.org/doc/install ...
