by LBL assembly onto cells showed little difference in cell viability when com-
pared to that of uncoated cells. This suggested good tolerance to the nanocoatings.
Nanolayering of poly--lysine was further shown to enhance glucose-induced insulin
secretory response by Bhaiji etal. [60]. The study concluded that nanocoatings main-
tained insulin secretory response, improved glucose responses of the cells, and was
