553.1 Measurement of the topology of nanostructures
(DDA) in absolute ethanol (30 mL, 66.7 mM). The solution was then heated to 180°C
for 12 h to form the ZnO. With the application of DDA aggregated assemblies of
urchin-like architectures of hexagonal cross-sectional shape nanorods were formed.
Without DDA stubbier nanorods of about 150 nm diameter were formed, see Figure
3.1. This FESEM image was taken at an accelerating voltage of 200 kV.
Copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) thin lms deposited at room temperature (30°C) on
quartz and post-annealed gold-coated quartz substrates were examined using FESEM [4].
