16.7 CONCLUSIONS

Nanocoatings have resulted in improvements across the board in all industries. The

medical and pharmaceutical industry can learn much from the advances in other

industries, which from the literature can be seen to have put nanocoating to a variety

of wider applications. The potential of nanocoatings in cells is of particular interest

and suggests that other substrates of similar delicacy may be coated in a related man-

ner to enhance functionality or ...
