Techniques for Implementation and Maintenance

Intervention implementation and maintenance are as important as the previous stages of the Human Performance/HPT Model. Rothwell points out that “A good solution that's poorly implemented becomes a poor solution.”1 In addition to the change management techniques that are used throughout the performance improvement process there are eight typical methods or techniques for interventions implementation and maintenance:
