The Vroom–Yetton–Jago model was devised by Victor Vroom (Yale School of Management), Philip Yetton (University of New South Wales) and Arthur Jago (University of Missouri). It helps leaders to decide how to make a decision – which leadership style to adopt to achieve the best outcome and the extent to which they should involve other people.
