ASSUMPTIONS TO MAKE FOR THIS EXAMPLE

Although most of this book is not very technical, to get through this chapter, you must have a fair background in programming concepts. You should have working knowledge of the following concepts to get the most out of this sample application and accompanying code:

  • C# .NET programming language and concepts
  • XSLT for working with Umbraco macros
  • XHTML and CSS
  • Visual Studio integrated development environment
  • General concepts such as installing and deploying web applications (including Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SQL Server)
