So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
5.7. Process Accounting Tools
There are various system programs that provide accounting data. Among these are acct and diskusg.
5.7.1. acct
/usr/sbin/acct (HP-UX 10.0 and later systems) contains the accounting data that is generated after accounting is enabled with the command.
turnacct on
The man page for acctsh describes a number of accounting commands and procedures.
5.7.2. diskusg
A second process accounting tool, diskusg, generates disk accounting information and outputs one line per user in the following format:
uid login #blocks
