Reducing fields
By reducing rows, we can hide data from certain users. But section access also allows us to hide fields from users altogether.
For example, let's assume that our source, apart from having sales-related figures, also contains bonuses percentages. These figures shouldn't be seen by any sales manager, and only by the regional manager. If we only reduce rows from our data, the values in the bonus column will still be visible to any user. But, we can omit certain fields to be shown to certain users.
We need to be careful when using this feature, as charts using the omitted fields may not be able to render properly.
