I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Reading the value of variables
To read the value of the variables created in the script, you can use the Debug Panel in the script editor. Let's use an example to explain this better. Perform the following steps to create a sample application:
- Create a new application using Qlik Sense Desktop or Cloud.
- Open Data load editor using the Navigation button:
- Once in Data load editor, click the + button to create a new section and give it a name:
- Copy the following code into the new section:
//These variables will hold strings '2+2' and 'month(yearstart(today()))' ...
