I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
D3 takeaways
All in all, D3 is the most popular and core JavaScript library which is used to create compelling visualizations from scratch in Qlik Sense. It helps that it has a massive follower base and open source community, which makes working with the library easier. There are several examples available on the web, such as the famous official D3 Gallery available here: https://github.com/d3/d3/wiki/Gallery.
While this book is not meant to teach you proficient D3.js, it will showcase how to integrate a simple D3 visualization into Qlik Sense in Chapter 13, Creating Extensions in Qlik Sense.
