An implicit field value definition is used when we want a possible or excluded value of another field assigned to the field in the set modifier.
In this type of expression, we must use the functions P() and E(). An example of this is as follows:
sum({< [Sales Manager] = p({1} [Supervisor])>} Sales)
The preceding example will return the sales of the sales managers who have the same name as a supervisor. The following example returns the sales of the sales managers who have never sold Shoes:
sum( {$<[Sales Manager] = E({1<[Product Description] ={'Shoes'}>}) >} Sales )
