You should already know by now how powerful CSS is and how much you can style in your web page and Qlik Sense extension using it. Personally, I am a little bit in conflict with using too much CSS, and as such, this file as well will remain quite compact. The reason is that the styling of a visualization, in my opinion, should never be entirely fixed via CSS, but the user should be given the option to modify almost anything they see on the screen.
But in the case of d3, unless you apply some basic CSS styling to the axes, it will look ugly:
