I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Requirements gathering
The goal of every new Qlik Sense project is to ensure to have the business user in mind. Approach the business user themselves, not the project manager or the stakeholder, and try to understand how he or she is conducting analytics at the current stage and what the pain points they experience with it are. This may involve shadowing them or even doing their job for a day.
Understanding where the lack of efficiency lies is key to gathering requirements in Qlik Sense. In QlikView, it was always straightforward: you need a dashboard, let's design it, and there you go.
