Directives

Directives belong to one of the most important concepts in AngularJS and are effectively what extends the basic HTML markup by teaching the browser new HTML. These special attributes always start with and can be recognized by its ng- prefix. A single directive may handle many HTML elements and a single HTML element may be managed by multiple directives.

By default, AngularJS comes with some standard directives, such as the following:
