When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
qDimensions
qDimensions defines the array of dimensions that will be used in the HyperCube. This is usually defined via the property panel, but it can also be done manually directly in the JSON file. The latter is only recommended for mashup usage when you are defining the visualization on the fly.
Further to the dimension name, you can also define settings, such as the following:
- qNullSuppression, which suppresses null values in the dimension
- qShowAll, which, if set to true, displays all dimension values, regardless of whether they are selected
- qCalcCond, which sets a calculation condition, which must be fulfilled for a dimension to be calculated
- qTotalLabel and qOtherLabel help to relabel the Other and Total labels in the returned HyperCube ...
