垂直アーキテクチャ
垂直アーキテクチャでは、一つのエージェントがリーダとなり、他のエージェントがリーダ
に従うような構成を取ります。図6.2.2 に垂直アーキテクチャを示します。アーキテクチャに
よっては、個々のエージェントがリーダとだけコミュニケーションを取る場合もあります。ま
た、全てのエージェントが共有の会話に参加し、リーダが明確に区別されている場合もありま
す。
垂直アーキテクチャの特徴は、リーダが存在し、協調するエージェント間で役割が明確に区
別されている点です。Guoらの研究[Guo et al. 2024] では、リーダの有無がチームの効率に大
きな影響を与えることを示しています。リーダがいるチームは、リーダがいないチームに比べ
て早くタスクを完了したとの結果が報告されています。リーダがいないチームでは、エージェ
ントの多くの時間が互いに指示を出し合うことに費やされてしまうことがあるようです。一
方、リーダがいるチームでは、リーダが指示を出すことで他のメンバは自分の仕事に集中でき
るとされています。
