So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Lewin’s force field analysis
The father of modern change models is psychologist Kurt Lewin, famous for his force field analysis. It examines forces that restrain desired change and forces that drive desired change. It argues that restraining forces should be reduced so that desirable change can happen naturally.
How to use?
In our improved version of the model, start by describing the kind of future situation that your strategy will create, on the outside and inside of the organisation. Then describe the existing situation in the same areas inside and outside the organisation.
