I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hrebiniak’s model of strategy execution
In recent years, there has been increasing focus on execution of strategy. The idea is that having a wonderful strategy is not very useful if you can’t make it work in the real world. Part of this is deciding to do the right thing, but the rest is getting the right thing done.
How to use?
The strategy execution model gives you a logical view of different parts of the organisation that will need decisions and action. Use it to think and discuss how each part fits together. Is it working well? Can it be improved?
