I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Booting FreeBSD for the First Time
When your system restarts, one of two things should happen: You should either get a boot menu asking you which operating system you want to boot; or, if FreeBSD is the only operating system on the drive, the system should begin to boot straight into FreeBSD. If this is not the case, and your system either hangs or boots right into some other operating system without giving you the option of starting FreeBSD, see Appendix C.
