Most aspects of the window manager behavior cannot be controlled from the Gnome Control Center. Instead, you have to use the Sawfish Configurator to change these. To start the Sawfish Configurator, middle-click a blank area on the desktop, select "Customize", and then select "All Features" (see Figure 6.23).

To make the desktop environment easier to work with, make the following changes.
