I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Final Thoughts
The information presented in this chapter should be enough to get most people up-and-running with their ISP. However, both kernel PPP and user PPP are extremely complex, and this chapter cannot cover all the options available. If you need to do more advanced configuration, both kernel PPP and user PPP have detailed man pages that describe all the options available. The kernel PPP man page can be accessed with man pppd, and the user PPP man page can be accessed with man ppp. In addition, there are sample configuration files located in /usr/share/examples/ppp.
