So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Introduction to BIND
BIND, short for Berkeley Internet Name Domain, consists of one major daemon program (named), a set of resolver libraries that provide the ability to perform name lookups, and various administrative tools. BIND is built into FreeBSD, though it is not enabled by default.
Structure of DNS
DNS is a hierarchical protocol, operating across the Internet in a fashion similar to how routing works.
