I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Introduction to Samba
Samba is an open-source, volunteer project originally begun by Andrew Tridgell and now developed collaboratively by the general UNIX community. It provides a UNIX machine (such as FreeBSD) with the capability to do everything that Windows file sharing can do, including appearing in network browsing lists, securing connections based on NT domain and username logons, and providing network print services. There are also tools that provide many of the administrative functions that a Windows NT/2000 server has.
