So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Designing the Head
Now it’s time to start the head, face, and hairstyle design. Maybe it’s a good time to try hats, as well (as they’ll affect the hairstyle). Figure 5.4 shows several sketches for Jim’s face. Keep in mind that you probably won’t come up with anything great during your first tries. (For this figure, I’m only showing you my best attempts.) You should keep drawing and designing until you’re happy with the result; it might take hundreds of drawings or you may be lucky and find something you like on the first try. (Don’t count on that, though!)
