When I explained the Group Policy capabilities, I mentioned that they can be used to publish applications, run startup/shutdown scripts, and so on. From the Active Directory objects' point of view, all these settings are attributes and all these files and scripts will need to be saved in the Active Directory database somehow. But instead of doing that, all these policy-related files and settings are saved in the SYSVOL folder. It will sync to all domain controllers. The default path for the Group Policy template (GPT) data is \\rebeladmin.com\SYSVOL\rebeladmin.com\Policies. In here, rebeladmin.com can be replaced with your domain FQDN:
