So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a global administrator account for Azure AD Connect
During the Azure AD Connect configuration, we require an account having global administrator privileges (in Azure). It is recommended to use a separate account for this.
In order to create a new account, follow these steps:
- Click on the relevant Azure AD instance.
- Navigate to the USERS link and then the ADD USER option:
- In the new window, it asks for a username for the new user. Type a username and click on the arrow button to proceed.
