In the previous chapter, we learned about the main AD object types and how we can add, edit, and remove them. We also learned about the different management tools and technologies which help us to do these tasks. Last but not the least, we learned how we can locate AD objects or the value of an attribute when required, using different tools and techniques. This chapter is an extension to that and here we going to talk about objects and attributes further.

In this chapter, we are going to look into the following areas:

• Object attributes
• Different types of user accounts and their actions
• Different types of groups and their actions
• Different types of devices and other objects which can be managed via AD
