Like any other IT engineer, I also deal with the burden of broken systems from time to time. In the last 12 years of my career, I've spent long, sleepless nights fixing systems. I spent days in cold data centers. I missed long-awaited holidays. Worst of all, I dealt with the broken-system curse on Friday nights.
