Microsoft Operation Management Suite (OMS)
In the previous chapter, I explained in detail how we can use OMS to monitor the health of an AD environment. OMS has a separate solution called AD replication status, which is capable of:
- Identifying AD replication errors between domains or forests
- Prioritizing errors that need to be fixed in order to avoid lingering objects
- Providing guidelines to fix replication issues
- Allowing replication data to be exported to source or destination domain controllers or even for offline analysis
