Setting up Azure AD Connect

Now we have everything ready to go ahead with the Azure AD Connect installation and configuration:

  1. Log in to the server that you going to use as the Azure AD Connect server as enterprise administrator.
  2. Download Azure AD Connect from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=47594.
  3. Run the setup, and after the installation, it will start the configuration wizard. On the first page, we need to accept the license and privacy terms and click on Continue.
  1. On the next page, it will ask whether we'd like to use express settings or custom settings. If the current AD setup follows a single forest, single domain topology, it is recommended you use the express settings option:
