Setting up Azure AD Connect
Now we have everything ready to go ahead with the Azure AD Connect installation and configuration:
- Log in to the server that you going to use as the Azure AD Connect server as enterprise administrator.
- Download Azure AD Connect from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=47594.
- Run the setup, and after the installation, it will start the configuration wizard. On the first page, we need to accept the license and privacy terms and click on Continue.
- On the next page, it will ask whether we'd like to use express settings or custom settings. If the current AD setup follows a single forest, single domain topology, it is recommended you use the express settings option:
